Not sure if anyone saw that Koech set an unofficial world-record in the 8K with a 21:54 during the race. Anyone know how long it takes to confirm a world record, especially one that was en route?
Also Kevin Castille was 2 seconds off the Masters 10k record set by Steve Plasencia in 1998.
If they had timing mats down and not just someone getting a split we should see it ratified in a month or so. IAAF does those once a month, I think.
